Workplace Health & Safety Due Diligence (Executives)

This high level Due Diligence for Executives session is a maximum 4 hour Board presentation tailored specifically for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Executives and Directors that are head of their respective organisations.

The presentation is designed to impart the knowledge necessary to effectively exercise positive duty of care, manage safety in the working environment and understand the legislative obligations for a safe workplace at an executive level

Directors and Executives have a responsibility to understand the nature and operations of the business and to keep up to date with WHS matters including hazards and risks in the workplace, including psychosocial hazards.

Learning outcomes from this Board presentation include:

There are significant obligations for officers under the WHS Act, and the legislation can hold officers personally liable for incidents that occur within their workplace.
