Workplace Health & Safety Contractor Management

This half-day face-to-face training course provides practical guidance on managing contractual relationships as a vital part of safety due diligence.

Participants will learn how to set safety standards, define tender criteria, and establish management systems for continuous review. By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand legal requirements for contractor management.
  • Identify workplace hazards, assess risks, and implement controls.
  • Develop an effective contractor management system, including selection, performance monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Address changes in the work environment with appropriate controls.
  • Implement strategies to foster a strong safety culture.
  • Understand the importance of close out and evaluation.

This course allows participants to gain insight into their own organisation’s contractor management programs to ensure compliance and safety effectiveness.
