This half (1/2) day training course provides an understanding and strategies to deal with conflict resolution, negotiation and managing difficult people. Learning how to manage and resolve
conflict is an important skill for anyone who works in a team, communicates directly with customers or has Leadership responsibilities. 

The ability to resolve interpersonal conflict can be very empowering. The skills learned on this course will enable the course participants to develop conflict resolution strategies for effectively
recognising, resolving and preventing conflicts with others. Key skills include how to compromise and negotiate, finding the root cause of the issue, the importance of anger management strategies
and de-escalating challenging situations.

On completion of this course participants will be able to:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of the sources, causes and types of conflict.
  • Learn to apply conflict resolution approaches.
  • Learn how to use the conflict resolution process to recognise and de-escalate conflict.
  • Develop effective communication tools.
  • Learn practical anger management techniques.
