This Self Paced eLearning course is an introductory and refresher course that covers the basics of first aid in Australia. It covers basic steps on how to perform CPR, along with a range of other advice to do with accident and medical emergency responses including how to conduct a primary survey of a casualty, and how to respond to medical emergencies such as shock, electrocution, heart attacks and physical injuries.
This is an awareness course only and is only intended to raise your awareness of how to respond to accidents and injuries. It is not a substitute for face-to-face first aid training, or for training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
